"I was very nervous when I first boarded Brandy. He is a 25 (now 26!) year old cockatiel who lost his mate a few years ago. He was lonely and often depressed, forgetting to eat when left alone, and spending most of the day "on pause". He needed stimulation and cuddling. Add to that, he'd lost his mate when he was last boarded (not with Natasha). What I was looking for was someone who both knew how to handle birds, and who would sincerely care about Brandy and take care of his emotional needs. Natasha went beyond my expectations. She placed Brandy's cage in a position where he would be part of the 'action', even if it meant her living room! She emailed me the evening I dropped off Brandy to assure me he was okay. We received daily e-mail reports complete with pictures and Trigger was in fine form when we picked her up after our trip.
